I’d been to the Lime & Basil Alfonso, Cavite branch a number of times, prices for the food and drinks ranges from 100 pesos and above. It has a great atmosphere, size & serving of the food is a value for money.

Since I am craving for Pad Thai we decided to try the newly opened branch of Lime & Basil in Paseo de Santa Rosa. The restaurant itself is not that big and has every bit of hint that it’s newly opened.

We looked at the menu and we said “WOW should we leave now?”. It’s pricier than the Alfonso branch (maybe they had a price increased too?). We did not leave and decided to try some of our favorites – maybe the taste would be the same as the other branch.

THE FOOD

We ordered the following:

Fresh Spring Roll – I used to order this one in the other branch and there were 6 pieces, what they offer has 3 pieces. The presentation and taste is good.

Pakbong with Crispy Pork  – Highly recommended, the kangkong taste great and the crispy pork perfectly cut and cooked. However, it’s 510 pesos (I remembered eating this in their Alfonso branch and it was 390 pesos with drinks). The rice has a small portion too. The taste compensates for the price.

Chicken Pad Thai – Small serving, pricey and did not exceed expectation.

Plus we got their complementary crackers with their amazing dipping sauce (one of my favorites).

SERVICE: Staff were kind and attentive. The place was clean and we got our seats immediately. The wait time for the food was not too long.

⭐️ 5/5 for the service.

PRICE: 😅

THOUGHTS: We kind of felt that it isn’t really value for money since the serving is too small and it was a bit pricey.

Have you tried dining at Lime & Basil Paseo de Santa Rosa branch? What are your thoughts?
