We don’t normally go to Paseo de Santa Rosa anymore but I guess we will be back more often. Why?
1.) Laidback compared to the other malls around the area.
2.) Wide open spaces with playground suitable for the young ones and availability of tables and chairs. And;
3.) Amazing coffee and cheesecake from RECOFFEE.
Why! I mean, why?! Haven’t we’ve been there before?!
Couple of chairs in the bar area, little table and chairs inside and al fresco. It has a chill vibe. They offer a variety of coffee and non-coffee drinks plus a few desserts. They use beans from Yardstick that is specially roasted for them which tasted amazing and not too acidic.
They opened around January 2026. We were able to have a small conversation with the barista, who was also the owner, after he finished all his orders at the time. He checked with all the customers there for their experience and if they needed anything.
The burnt cheesecake is delicious, not too sweet and not too sour – and melts in your mouth. The owner said they made it themselves.
The coffee was fantastic and for someone who experience hyperacidity at times, it’s not too acidic. The owner said that their beans were blended that way.
RECOFFEE definitely saved our night with their amazing coffee and vibe. We’ll surely be back.
